LED Lights on Electric Racing Motorcycles?

January 27, 2010

Over on the TTXGP Technical Rules Wiki, User Skadamo suggested that perhaps “if each bike had a different color light or combination of multiple light colors it would help spectators and TV viewers keep track of their favorite rider. When the camera pans out it is sometimes hard to tell who is who especially for the less avid fans.”

The LED lights were used by the Graves Yamaha Team at the AMA night race at Daytona last year.

Although no night races are scheduled for this season, next season is a blank page.
